Expelliarmus!
Yes, it is true. I have started reading the final Harry Potter book. I really don't know why it has taken me so long to pick it up and read it....oh, maybe because it is 759 pages long. Believe it or not, I have been a big fan of Harry since I was 12. And the matching tatoo scars my mother and I sported on our foreheads to the opening weekend of the first Harry Potter movie can prove it. (If only I could find the picture...) Anywho, I have already stayed up past my bed-time on more than one occassion reading it. So here's to hoping Harry lives. And please don't tell me the ending if you have already read it. That would just be mean.

Meet Rico.
I am a male Siamese kitten, about 8 weeks old. I love to pounce on everything that moves, and everything that doesn't move. I love cuddling with Ady and Jono. I like to play at Grandma and Grandpa's house with the cats there, Sam and Ducati. I'll eat just about anything that is put in front of me. My grandma says not to worry, I will grow into my ears eventually. In my spare time I like to:
- pounce on EVERYTHING
- chase Ady's feet while she is walking
- explore my new home
- play with my toys
- try to eat human food
- take naps
- chase the pointer on the computer screen
- watch TV
- attack toes that are underneath the covers

His name is Don Rico, but we call him Rico for short. He's learning his name and discovering the effect that gravity has on him. He'll climb up your leg to get to you and loves to perch on our shoulders. He tries to climb on everything, and my dad calls him "flying velcro", because he jumps and attaches himself to just about anything. He is my cuddle-bug and my bubba.
We can already see his personality coming through. He loves being around people and will curl up with you to take a nap. He is full of energy and gets a little spastic at times, which Jono and I refer to him as "Kitty Monster". He is so much fun and we fell in love him the first night he came home.

Here is what Wikipedia has to say about Siamese cats:
"Siamese are affectionate and intelligent cats, renowned for their social nature. They enjoy being with people and are sometimes described as "extroverts". They are extremely vocal, with a loud, low-pitched voice – known as "Meezer", from which they get one of their nicknames, that has been compared to the cries of a human baby, and persistent in demanding attention. They also have a great need for human companionship. Often they bond strongly to a single person. These cats are typically active and playful, even as adults."
