our california trip

We got to spend a whole week in sunny California. I am so glad we were able to fly back and spend time with family and friends. There is nothing better than sun-kissed skin and sandy toes. Luckily we were able to pack our days full of activities and get the exhausted babes back in time for bed. Will absolutely loved being with all his cousins and grandparents all day and night.

Noah did so well on his first flight! He just ate and slept the whole time. And luckily both flights out there weren't full so we were able to stretch out and the kids both got their own seats.

Once we all got to California, the cousin party began!

Monday, we had tons of fun going to the beach club. Will has gotten pretty brave in the water. He will walk out into the water up to his chin trying to follow his older cousins, but he refused to put on a life jacket or hold our hands. He wanted to do it all on his own. Unfortunately that didn't fly with me, so we kept trying to steer him in the more shallow parts and he got more than a couple mouthfuls of water. Gonna have to keep my eye on him.

Tuesday, we got to meet up with friends at a nearby pool. It was so fun to see everyone again and their sweet babes. I still can't believe we all have this many kids. And they are all water babies! There were kids jumping into the pool all over the place.

All the kiddos
Later that evening we were able to swim in our neighbor's pool and had tons of fun! After we had a water balloon fight. Everyone got into it.

These four are best buds.
And the two babes.
Wednesday we hung out with Jono's parents. We went to the Irvine Spectrum to ride the carousel, play in the splash pad and the new park they just put up next to it. We bought Will his first hat. He's actually been leaving hats on his head these days, so how could we resist??

Thursday my sisters and their families went to Riviera.
Here's everyone (minus sleeping Noah and Lenyx)

We've sure missed this place

At the end of the week my family went camping at O'Neill Park. Jono and I weren't brave enough to sleep over at nights (plus Will got sick the first night) so we went in the evenings for dinner and dessert and then went back to the house to sleep.

Saturday we went to Chuck E Cheese for lunch and had fun playing the games.

Always a fun time at Chuck E Cheese :)
Saturday night all the adults were able to get away to do a temple trip with some BJ's for dinner after. It was so great to have a night out without the kids and enjoy ourselves.

Party platter pazookie!

 And that's a wrap!
