visitors

We were so lucky to have had family come out and visit us after Noah was born. Jono's parents, Steve and LeAnn came out first. We had fun experimenting with bread recipes, going down to the Rockford dam for dinner and ice cream, going to the Children's Museum and the John Ball Zoo, trips to the park, and playing around the house. LeAnn was a huge help at nights, when Noah was waking up every 1-2 hours and Steve was the master chef in the kitchen and cooked dinners for us all.

The next week Jono had to go back to work after being off for two weeks. So I am so grateful my mom came into town. Will absolutely loves Gaga and for the first two days Will insisted she do everything for him, instead of me. For the most part we stayed around the house. We took Will to the park during the days and on Saturday, June 15th, we went to downtown Rockford by the dam because the fair was in town. We ate dinner, got some ice cream and walked around the river.

My sister, Danielle, and her two boys flew in Saturday night and we were all able to be together for a day until my mom left on Monday morning. Sunday we celebrated Jono's birthday and Father's Day. We had fun going to the park, the Children's Museum, playing in the pool in the backyard, and playing by the river. Although it was a little chaotic sometimes with all the boys, my sister was super helpful with  Noah at nights, watching Will during the day, and making us dinner at nights.

This was the first time Will held Noah by himself.
Love these two.
We feel so blessed to  have had family come out and to get us through the transition phase with two kids. Thanks again everyone! Can't wait to see you all again.
