Today you are 6 months old.

Little William is six months old today.
My how the time has flown.
I remember thinking in the hospital as I held my brand new baby that I didn't want him to grow up.
Six months seemed like forever away and I wanted him to stay my precious newborn.
But watching your child grow and learn is pretty great. I absolutely love spending every day with him.
Having a child brings such a sweet spirit into your life.

Here's to six months.
Love you Will.

Backyard

The weather has been so lovely.
Today Will and I spent some time in the backyard on the grass.
He looked at the trees and watched the cats scamper around the yard.
We laid, we sat, he bounced (of course) and we giggled.
I just had to capture it.

I have to find new noises to keep him laughing.
The last one was a sneeze.
The new one is barking like a dog (Woof Woof Woof).
We found this out from reading one of his books, Doggies by Sandra Boynton.

Happy Easter

I love Easter.
It's a day that brings hope and new beginnings.
It is the perfect embodiment of Spring.

We went to church and then had a delicious dinner with family.

We took pictures outside and my camera was still on an inside setting for shooting so they turned out overexposed.
I kind of like them.

My sister, Claire, made these cute desserts.

Will and his Easter basket.
Since he doesn't eat candy yet I filled it with items he will need for this summer: a bathing suit, sun hat, sun screen, a toy and new books.

He was more interested in playing with the grass.

Cousin Jaxson and Will.

Will opening his presents from Gaga and Papa (my parents).

Now that I have a child my heart has expanded with love more than I thought it ever could.
I have more fully understood the love that Jesus and Heavenly Father have for us.
A perfect, eternal, unconditional love.

Jesus Christ atoned for the sins of the world, died on the cross, and then rose on the third day.
He did it because he loves us.
I am forever grateful not only for what Christ has done for me, but for my family.
He has shown us the way. He is my Savior, my Redeemer and my advocate with the Father.

I hope that I can follow his example and make love the underlying reason for all of my actions.

"Where, oh death, is now thy sting?"

Hope you had a happy Easter.

Jump Jump

As mentioned earlier, Will is all about jumping these days.
It's all he wants to do when he's awake.
This was from one of his first times in his Johnny Jump Up.
He has already gotten so much better at jumping in it.

Watch what happens when we mix two of Will's favorite things: jumping and kitties.

I love this boy.
