Since we didn't have any Thanksgiving plans of our own out here in Michigan, we called up our friends, the McLanes, in Chicago and drove 3.5 hours to Illinois. They invited a bunch of their friends and we all ate Thanksgiving dinner together.
The next day we drove into the city to site see and visit museums. Even though it was absolutely freezing, we had such a fun time!
Jono had been to Chicago a couple years earlier, but it was my first time.
We definitely want to visit again when its a little warmer!
Thanksgiving day we visited a neighborhood park and prepped for the big meal!
Friday we made our way into the city. When we parked and got out we were blasted with a crazy wind chill. We took a few pictures and decided it was too cold, so we headed to the museum instead.
Then we parked and walked to the Bean, which was super cool and fun to play around.
And since we were already numb, we took the long way back to the cars to see more of the city.
And finally, on our way back to the house we drove by Wrigley Field.
Jono has been to a game there before, but I had never seen it.
Thanks Josh and Kiera for letting us crash your Thanksgiving weekend, we had so much fun!

It was so fun! Ps-it's getting warmer now! You guys should come visit again :) Not that your busy with getting ready for a new baby or anything :)
