summer in august

Wow, the month of August was a good one! I've been taking pictures on my phone and have failed to properly document all our activities. So I went back and sorted through them all and here they are!

Will has been learning his numbers and letters in the bathtub.
And he successfully soaks everyone in the bathroom by the time the bath is over.

Playing with chalk on the driveway.

Playing in the lake at Millennium Park with the Greens

The wind was blowing pretty hard and the poor kids were freezing!
So we wrapped them up and cuddled in the sun.

Canoeing with some families in our ward on the Rogue River.
Such a fun night!

And when we got to the dam we stopped to get some ice cream.
My favorite!

Spent a lot of time at the Children's Museum.
Jono stopped by one day on his lunch break. Will was in heaven.

 Arts and crafts

Lots of smiles, giggles, and tummy time from this boy.

Spent time at the park

Brothers playing together.
Will loves pointing out Noah's body parts.

Went to the Danish Festival in Greenville.
Fireman's Parade

Will is talking learning new words every day! He's recently started saying prayers. He repeats every word after us. Here is his first prayer he said. Melted my heart.

We've also spent time being sick, which means lots of cuddles.
We currently all have colds right now, but slowly getting better.

Spent a day at Meijer Gardens with friends. Boy was that a fun day!
Driving boats in splash tables, running around the trails, water painting, and eating lunch at the cabin.

Jono and I celebrated 6 years!
We went to dinner at Red's on the River and then came home and watched a movie.
Love him.

Sunday night cookie making

Will has gotten very helpful and sets out the silverware for dinner.

We had a picnic at Richardson Sowerby Park.
We ate dinner by the river, played at the park and enjoyed being with our little family.

Will giving us a heart attack by climbing and reaching for every pole and step. Does he think he's five??

Jono, Noah and I went to a Michigan game in Ann Arbor.
Our tickets were in the student section, and we were a little out of place having a baby with us.
We ended up having a lot of fun, Noah slept during the game, and we got a lot of "Awe"s from all the girls when they saw Noah.

By the way, is that girl over my right shoulder wearing underwear??
Times have changed.
And finally, we finished painting Will's dresser.
I'm LOVING the finish product.

What a busy month!
We are trying to enjoy every last day of summer before its gone and the winter cold begins.

What cute boys you have! I love his prayer! We need to have Wes do this! Bad parents over here. I don't even let him paint. Too messy... Ha ha.
