Halloween was pretty fun at our house this year. We didn't make it to a pumpkin patch this year (I'm still kicking myself) but we did manage to buy one of the last four pumpkins from the grocery store and carve it the night before Halloween.
The weather on Halloween was pretty dreary. It rained all day but luckily at about 5 pm it let up a bit. After convincing Will to actually wear his costume (with the help of some M&Ms) we were ready to go trick or treating! Jono got home from work early and we went out right at 5:30 pm. We live at the end of a cul-de-sac so we worked our way up the hill. Will learned pretty quick what was going on. He would walk up to the door, knock, and say "treat!"
At the top of the hill there was a scarier house that Jono wanted to take Will to so he could "experience Halloween." Walking up to the door Will got scared and didn't even want the candy. He just wanted to leave. He was nervous at every house after that. He would knock on the door and when people answered he would yell "No!" Haha. Jono felt bad he took him to the scary house. It had been drizzling so Noah and I walked back to the house to pass out candy while Jono and Will finished the rest of the street.
When they made it back we spent the rest of the evening eating candy, passing out candy and watching Toy Story. Will loved answering the door and passing out candy to all the kids. It continued to rain the rest of the night and every child that came trick-or-treating was soaked to the bone.
The following Friday we went to our ward Fall Harvest party and all the kids came dressed up in their costumes. Sure do love my train engineer and teddy bear. I didn't want Halloween to be over because I just thought they were so darn cute.

| Not the greatest pic of the boys, but this is the only family picture we got. Right after this picture Noah had a blow-out and spent the rest of the evening in his diaper. Nice. |
I could just eat them up.
