grand haven kite festival

May 17th was the Grand Haven Kite Festival. We wanted to go last year but we were so busy getting ready for Noah's arrival, we ended up skipping it. Will has been really into flying kites lately so we wanted to take him and fly our kite. It was chilly and windy, but the kites were beautiful in the sky. Will loved pointing out all the animals and shapes in the sky. We had fun flying our Ninja Turtle kite and Will loved rolling around in the sand. We walked up and down the beach and looked at all the kites. There were also teams that would perform kite tricks and routines to music--it was pretty cool to watch. So glad we made it out this year!
